TAKE THE PRESSURE OFF
Vehicle & asset fires no longer need to impact your mine reliability
DSPA aerosol fire extinguishing systems are an easily installed, quick return to service system that offers better-fire protection than traditional pressurised systems.

Should a fire occur and the DSPA system is activated, the powder is a non-asphyxiant, non-damaging environmentally friendly residue, meaning clean up is safe and quick. And without pressure vessels, the system is installed by on-site auto-electricians.

Designed in compliance with the Australian Standards, and with a general exemption granted by the WA DMP, Fire Suppression Australia is ready to improve your mine reliability today.
DSPA AEROSOL EXTINGUISHING SYSTEMS
Fire in transport and construction vehicles are often caused by short circuits or self-combustion in the motor compartment of the vehicle. When this happens, this may lead to dangerous situations and/or great financial damages. A typical DSPA fire extinguishing system for LV's and plant equipment is installed inside the motor compartment, making sure that a fire is detected swiftly and extinguished effectively. However they can also be applied to battery compartments, trailers, or other identified high risk areas of the equipment.
EASY TO INSTALL
Unlike existing pressured systems, DSPA can be installed & maintained quickly with step-by-step on your LV’s and plant equipment by on-site auto-electricans. The simple system means straight forward and effective installation. The ruggedised design gives it a 15 year, low maintenance service life.
QUICK RETURN TO SERVICE
Unlike existing pressured systems, DSPA can be installed & maintained by onsite autoelectricans. This means no more waiting for pressurised vessel technicians to come out to site to recommission your vehicles or assets. The dry powder doesn’t leave damaging residue and is easily cleaned.
RECORD KEEPING COMPLIANT
The DSPA system is designed to fit in with your existing record keeping and compliance protocols. If this is something that could us an upgrade on your site, Fire Suppression Australia can also offer solutions that simplify this process so you can focus on more important things.
BETTER FIRE PROTECTION
Multiple alarm stages, Multi-zone control and Graduated release are just some of the ways the DSPA is smarter way to mitigate fire risk on your mine. Read more about this game changing technology here
SELF-SERVICEABLE, RELIABLE ASSET PROTECTION
For each vehicle or plant asset, a combination of sensors, DSPA aerosol generators and other components will be laid out in high risk areas. Using linear heat detection cables or programmable thermo couples, the detection part of the DSPA Automotive extinguishing system can be easily configured.

The DSPA CU (Central Unit) is connected to two sensors, which detect the fire with the double consent logic. The pre-alarm is signalled by the first sensor and once confirmed by the second, the signal reaches the control unit which activates the discharge of the DSPA aerosol generators. Allowing for multiple DSPA Aerosol generators to be activated in up to 4 zones, making it more capable of controlling re-ignition than other systems on the market.
BETTER FOR EVERYONE
DOES NOT DEPLETE OXYGEN LEVELS
NON-TOXIC AEROSOL
ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY
EXCEPTIONAL EFFECTIVE
DSPA aerosol generators can be used as a part of a highly effective, cost-efficient fire extinguishing system. A DSPA generator is non-pressurised and is installed inside a room, plant or vehicle compartment that requires protection. After activation, an aerosol cloud is generated, which expands volumetrically, flooding the space and extinguishing the fire. The DSPA generators are effective on class A, B, C and F fires.
